How much do your packages cost?

Can we meet up for a cuppa?


Sure thing, I’d love to meet you! It's important that you click with your photographer - you will be hanging out with them on a pretty important day, after all. My schedule is flexible, so meetings during working hours are great. Or perhaps a cheeky vino after work. If you’re interstate or overseas, please get in touch and we can organise a meeting via Skype.


Can you hold the date for us?

I can't hold a date for you; but if you let me know you are interested, I can let you know if someone else enquires about the same date. The only way to confirm your date is to pay the booking fee and sign the Agreement. I only shoot a limited number of weddings per year; so it’s first in, best dressed. Don’t um and ah too long! 

How do we book?


Easy! Send me an email and see if I am available for your wedding date. If I am, and you decide to engage me as your wedding photographer, I will set up an online booking system for you, which will contain the Booking Form, the Wedding Agreement (you can both sign this electronically) and the invoice. A $750 non-refundable booking fee is required. Once this is paid and the Agreement is signed, your booking will be confirmed and your date secured. The balance of payment is due 4 weeks prior to the wedding.


We’re not getting married in Tasmania, do you travel?


Absolutely! I've been lucky enough to shoot couples in love in New York and New Zealand, and I would love to discuss details of your adventure with you (I'm thinking an elopement in Africa...). Drop me a line so I can put together a custom quote for you. 


We are a little awkward in front of the camera and nervous about having our photo taken.


So am I! I will move quietly through the day with you, and gently guide you through the portraits, so you feel at ease in front of the camera. I aim to capture the real and beautiful interactions without excessive direction or awkward posing. I work intuitively, and my approach is simple, unobtrusive and photojournalistic - nothing too posed but enough direction to help put you at ease. I just ask you to let go a little, be present in those little moments and be yourself;

When do we receive our photographs?


A few days after your wedding, I will send through some images of your day as a taster of the warm, fuzzies to come. About 6-8 weeks after your wedding, you’ll receive a link to an online gallery of the day’s highlights, which is perfect for sharing with family and friends. Not long after, you’ll receive your USB in the post, with the images in both high res (for printing) and low resolution (for sharing on social media).


Do you have insurance and backup equipment?


Yes and yes.


Do you use a second shooter?


I usually shoot weddings solo. However, depending on the size and complexity of the wedding, a second shooter is available (and advisable for larger weddings) for an additional fee.

What is an 'unplugged' wedding?


This is an option I suggest to all my couples. An unplugged wedding is one where the couple asks guests to put away their phones, iPads and cameras, so they are completely present during the ceremony and enjoy the celebration of love as it unfolds. 


What is a 'first look'?


It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I love first looks. It's when the two of you see each other for the first time, alone, then venture out and have the portrait session before you officially say "I do". You can invite your wedding posse along, too. It's perfect for getting a bit of extra time together, without the stress of having to leave the party after the ceremony; instead, you can just relax, stay and enjoy all the hugs and celebration with your favourite people. 

Can our dog/cat/chicken be included in our wedding?


Yes. The answer is always yes.
